Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Tampa FL
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, pedestrians are about 1.5 times more likely than passenger car travelers to be killed in a vehicle collision. Pedestrians in Florida are particularly susceptible, given the state’s history of being a dangerous location for pedestrians, particularly in big urban areas. Pedestrians are particularly susceptible since there is nothing that can be done to protect them from the full impact of a collision.
Even though the overall rates of deadly crashes have decreased, pedestrians are killed or injured in car accidents at an increasing rate each year. Pedestrians are disproportionately affected by hit-and-run incidents, and they are more likely to be badly hurt.
