St Petersburg, FL (August 5, 2022) – A garage fire in St. Petersburg on Thursday, August 4, left three people injured.
Officials from St. Petersburg Fire-Rescue were dispatched to the scene of a fire that started at around 5 p.m. at a home located at the 2500 block of 13th Avenue. Three people were reportedly trapped on the second floor.
Two victims were rescued from the structure by men on ladders. The third was able to escape on their own. An adult was transported to Bayfront hospital. Two children were also injured, and one was taken to All Children’s Hospital while the other went to Tampa General Hospital.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
