St Petersburg, FL – Two Hurt After Driver Runs Light at 4th Ave & 3rd St

St Petersburg, FL (July 14, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries after being hit by a driver who ran a red light in St. Petersburg on Saturday, July 9. The crash was reported at the corner of 4th Avenue and 3rd Street at around 1 a.m.
Local reports revealed that Marco Torres was out with his girlfriend, Lyric Bushnell, when they hailed a rideshare. While driving through the intersection, their rideshare was hit by a motorist who ran a light. Torres, Bushnell, and the driver were all hurt in the accident.
No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing crash investigation is underway.
