St Petersburg, FL (January 6, 2022) – According to local officials, at least one person was injured in a major traffic accident in St. Petersburg on Thursday morning, January 6. At 8:03 a.m. the accident occurred near the intersection of US-19 and 38th Avenue N.
To assist the injured, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene. Many lanes were temporarily closed as a result of the collision. At least one person was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
At this time, no new information about the crash has been released. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
