Florida Speeding-Related Crashes
Drivers who speed are more likely to lose control of their vehicles, potentially resulting in serious accidents. In the United States, 9,378 people were killed in high-speed collisions in 2018. With nearly 25 people killed every day as a result of speeding drivers, speeding is one of the most common causes of fatal car accidents. High-speed collisions, according to statistics, are more likely to result in catastrophic injuries. Over the last two decades, speeding has been blamed for one-third of all road deaths in the United States.
A serious car accident can be devastating for you or a loved one, and recovering compensation can be difficult for those who are unfamiliar with the law. Many victims are unsure of what they should do next to protect their legal rights, making filing a personal injury claim difficult. A St. Petersburg personal injury lawyer can assist injured victims and their families in recovering lost compensation following a car accident, which is often the most effective way to maximize your recovery.
