Sun City Center, FL – Multiple Injuries in Fatal Crash on US-301

Sun City Center, FL (October 11, 2021) – A woman was killed and others were injured after a two-vehicle accident in Sun City Center on Saturday, October 9.

The deadly crash was reported that night at around 9 p.m. Local reports revealed that the incident took place at the 18001 block of US-301 in Hillsborough County. Authorities reported that a 64-year-old woman was driving on the highway in a Honda Fit when she failed to yield at an intersection.

The Honda crashed into a Ford Fusion. Both vehicles entered the grassy shoulder of the highway. The 33-year-old Temple Terrace man driving the Ford and a 26-year-old Wimauma passenger were hospitalized. The Honda driver was later pronounced dead.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
