Tampa, FL – Auto Accident on I-275 S near Hillsborough Ave Results in Injuries, Traffic Delays

Tampa, FL (August 6, 2022) – A vehicle crash was reported on the night of August 5 in Tampa. At approximately 10:55 p.m., sources say the wreck occurred on I-275 South.
According to reports, the accident happened near Hillsborough Avenue on I-275 South. An unspecified number of vehicles were involved in a collision in the area that ended in injuries.
Paramedics, police, and other responders were seen helping those involved at the scene. Currently, what caused the incident to occur remains under investigation by local police.
The injured victims were treated on-site by paramedics and transported to local hospitals as necessary. Their identities have not been released at this time.
