Tampa, FL – Auto Wreck Ends in Injuries on I-275 near Howard Frankland Bridge

Tampa, FL (August 27, 2022) – An auto crash was reported in Tampa on the morning of August 26. At approximately 6:34 a.m., responders were sent to the scene of an accident on Interstate 275.
Reports indicate that the wreck occurred on I-275 near the Howard Frankland Bridge. The total number of vehicles involved in the accident has not been reported at this time.
Traffic was delayed in the area while paramedics and police worked to secure the scene. At least one person was treated on-site for injuries and transported to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, authorities in Tampa continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
