Fatal Bicycle Accidents in Florida
Florida has one of the highest rates of bicycle accidents in the nation. We have the highest average annual number of bicycle fatalities and the highest rate of cyclist fatalities per million residents when compared to other states. When people disregard their obligations to bikers, bicycle accidents might be fatal or have a substantial influence on someone’s life.
The sudden death of a loved one is one of the most difficult events a person may encounter in their lifetime. It may be extremely distressing for those left behind when an accident results in the death of a family member when the loss was unexpected and possibly avoidable. Families, beneficiaries, and other close relatives and friends of the victim are likely to be overwhelmed with worries and inquiries about how the loss of their loved one will affect them in the future.
In Florida, more than half of bicycle accidents involving automobiles are the result of someone failing to give the right of way. Adult cyclists are involved in the majority of bicycle accidents that are caused by automobiles that fail to yield the right-of-way. In cities, this is especially true.
