Tampa, FL – Fatal Crash on Causeway Blvd near Maritime Blvd

Tampa, FL (December 11, 2022) – The Tampa Police Department responded to the scene of a fatal accident that occurred Saturday morning, December 10. Authorities report the accident took place at around 11:44 a.m. on Causeway Boulevard.
Sources say the incident occurred near Maritime Boulevard on Causeway Boulevard. The details of the incident are currently limited, however, it is known that at least one person lost their life in the accident.
The southbound lanes of Causeway Boulevard were closed for several hours while the investigation commenced. Drivers were asked to use alternate routes while the scene was active with responders.
