Tampa, FL – One Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on US-17 near NE Daniels St

Tampa, FL (October 30, 2022) – One man lost his life in a car crash that happened on Friday, October 28. Information provided by the Florida Highway Patrol states that the wreck occurred at around 10:16 p.m.

A man was driving his vehicle north on US-17 when he approached the intersection on Northeast Daniels Street. He was driving in the right lane when a motorcyclist, age 65, was traveling directly in front of him.

Both vehicles approached the intersection of US-17 and Northeast Daniels Street. The motorcyclist then slowed down in order to take a right onto NW Daniels Street.

The vehicle collided with the rear end of the motorcycle, causing the motorcyclist to sustain critical injuries. He was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he later passed away.
