Tampa, FL – Pedestrian Dies in Hit-&-Run on N 50th St

Tampa, FL (November 6, 2021) – A hit-and-run in Tampa resulted in the death of a pedestrian late on Friday night, November 5. The fatal crash was reported at the 3630 block of N. 50th Street at around 9:15 p.m.

Local authorities were alerted to a pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle in the area. Emergency personnel were summoned to the scene to transport the victim to a nearby hospital. He was later pronounced dead at the facility.

The driver involved reportedly fled the scene. They were last seen traveling northbound on the roadway. No additional information has been released at this time.

An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
