Tampa, FL (April 24, 2022) – A person was hospitalized following a hit-and-run accident in Tampa on Thursday night, April 21. The crash was reported at the intersection of Ehrlich Road and Veterans Expressway at around 9:15 p.m.
A pedestrian was walking along the roadway when they were hit by an oncoming motorist. The at-fault driver fled the scene without providing aid to the injured party. One person was airlifted to a local hospital in serious condition. The identity of the crash victim has not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
