Florida Car Crashes
Being injured in a car wreck can be stressful, overwhelming, and overall life-changing. However, this experience does not have to dictate your future. Negligent drivers cause the majority of the auto wrecks reported in the United States, so, it is likely that if you were injured in a car wreck, it was the fault of a negligent driver. Sadly, a percentage of drivers today do not have any regard for their own safety, let alone that of others on the roadway. This causes them to repeatedly place themselves and those around them in harm’s way. This is totally unfair to those of us who choose to act responsibly and carefully while driving so as to preserve our own safety and that of those around us.
If you or a loved one has recently been injured in a car accident, it is vital to understand your legal rights when it comes to being hurt in an accident caused by someone else. The state of Florida is one of the most dangerous states, if not the most dangerous state when it comes to driving and auto accidents. This is most likely due to the high population and tourism rate. More people, unfortunately, means more auto accidents. With more than 400,000 car crashes per year, the Sunshine State sees more car wrecks than any other state in the country. Over 250,000 people are hurt in auto crashes per year in Florida, while more than 3,000 lose their lives.
Accident victims may be unable to immediately return to work and earn a living after they’re seriously hurt in a crash.
