Tampa, FL – Serious Car Accident on I-75 near Bruce B Downs Blvd

Tampa, FL (December 11, 2022) – In the early morning hours of December 11, a serious car accident was reported to officials in Tampa. According to information provided by officials, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75.
Reports indicate the accident happened on I-75 beyond Bruce B Downs Boulevard. Two right lanes were blocked while emergency crews were at the scene around 4:30 a.m.
What caused the accident is still being investigated by local police at this time. At least two vehicles crashed in the area and caused injuries to those involved.
Responders, including police, EMS, and fire crews, worked at the crash site for an extended period of time on the morning of December 11. Injured victims were treated and transported to local hospitals as needed.
The names of those involved have not been reported at this time.
Authorities in Tampa continue to investigate the details of the accident.
