Tampa, FL – Six Injured in Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-75

Tampa, FL (July 7, 2022) – A multi-vehicle crash in Tampa left multiple people injured on Wednesday night, July 6. The accident was reported at around 7:25 p.m. on Interstate 75 near Exit 404.
The Tampa man operating a tractor-trailer failed to notice another commercial truck. The trucker hit the rear of the other rig which was operated by a 30-year-old man from Texas. The Tampa man immediately steered to the left, and the trailer overturned onto a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 37-year-old Arcadia man.
The Tampa man and five occupants of the pickup were hurt and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
