Tampa, FL (November 18, 2022) – Local authorities have identified the woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Tampa on Wednesday evening, November 16.
It was later revealed that 55-year-old Alene Marie Folsom was headed west on Busch Boulevard in a Nissan Maxima when she made a left turn at Nebraska Avenue. Folsom was hit by a Mercedes SUV. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No updates on their condition have been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
