Florida Car Crashes
Florida is one of the most populated states in the United States. It is also one of the most popular tourist states in the country, meaning that there are most likely more people in Florida than in most other states at any given time. This can be a hazard, especially when driving is considered. Unfortunately, the more people present on the roads, the more auto accidents are bound to happen. Every year, the Sunshine State sees more than 400,000 vehicle collisions occur. These wrecks cause injuries to more than 125,000 people per year. On average, over 3,000 people lose their lives in Florida auto accidents per year. Throughout the United States, over 6 million car crashes happen annually that injure about 3 million people and take the lives of over 40,000.
When you or someone you love has been injured in a car accident, it is important to determine how the incident occurred, especially if you know it was the fault of another person. A lawyer can help you get the money you need if you or a loved one of yours has been injured in a car crash caused by negligence. Driver negligence is illegal in the United States. It is often punished by fines and jail time. When people sustain injuries due to the negligent actions of drivers, they are usually eligible to collect financial compensation for a wide range of aspects. Medical bills, vehicle repairs, wage loss, and more may be able to be compensated for by filing a personal injury claim.
Every year, the lives of millions are turned inside out by driver negligence. More than 400,000 accidents happen every year due to driver distraction alone.
