Tampa, FL – Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Nebraska Ave

Tampa, FL (October 12, 2022) – On Wednesday, October 12, a woman was fatally hit in a pedestrian accident in the Tampa area.

The deadly accident took place on Nebraska Avenue on the Hillsborough River Bridge near E. Sitka Street just after 2 a.m. The victim was traveling along the bridge when she was hit by a motor vehicle. The driver stopped and cooperated with responding officials.

The woman suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. No additional information has been provided.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
