Thonotosassa, FL – Dade City Boy Killed in Head-On Collision at US-301 & Williams Rd

Thonotosassa, FL (September 28, 2022) – A head-on crash in the Thonotosassa area on Monday, September 26, left one dead and several others injured. The fatal collision was reported at the intersection of US-301 and Williams Road at around 4:47 p.m. 

It was reported that a 38-year-old Tampa woman was headed south on the highway when she lost control. She entered oncoming traffic and collide head-on with a car driven by a 53-year-old Zephyrhills woman. 

A 17-year-old Dade City boy in the Tampa woman’s car was killed in the crash. Three children in her vehicle were also injured, along with both drivers. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is underway.
