Florida Fatal Pedestrian Crashes
Pedestrians are 1.5 times more likely than passenger car occupants to be killed in a vehicle collision, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Pedestrians killed or injured in automotive accidents are growing year after year, despite reduced overall mortality rates. In 2017, a pedestrian was killed every 88 minutes on average in the United States. Pedestrians are particularly vulnerable in Florida. The state has a bad reputation for being a dangerous place to visit. It’s difficult to protect someone walking from the full force of a collision. Pedestrians are thus more prone to suffer major injuries as a result of this.
It can be terrible when a loved one dies as a result of another person’s negligence or carelessness. Unexpected fees and other damages are frequently incurred by the family of the deceased victim. In addition to their great sense of grief, surviving family members are frequently forced to deal with feelings of irritation and powerlessness when a loved one is killed in an unexpected accident. This is exacerbated by a deteriorating financial situation. It is only normal for surviving family members to desire to hold those responsible for your loved one’s death accountable by filing a wrongful death claim with the assistance of a Town ‘N’ Country pedestrian accident lawyer.
