Valrico, FL – One Killed, Two Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Culbreath Rd

Valrico, FL (May 4, 2022) – Three pedestrians were hit by a motor vehicle in the Valrico area on Friday morning, April 29. The deadly crash was reported at the intersection of Culbreath Road and Natures Way Boulevard just past 5 a.m.
The three victims were out jogging at the time of the accident. The driver involved initially told authorities that he thought he had hit a trash can. He left the scene but later returned to cooperate with authorities.
One pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The two others suffered serious injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly pedestrian crash is underway.
