Car Accidents in Florida

Crashes can leave victims facing a range of challenges. Below are some common causes of car accidents in Florida that continue to endanger lives:
- Speeding: Driving above the posted limit or too fast for conditions significantly increases the risk of losing control. Speeding reduces reaction time and intensifies crash impact.
- Distracted Driving: Texting, eating, adjusting navigation systems, or other in-car distractions often lead to collisions. Taking your eyes off the road for even a few seconds can result in serious consequences.
- Failure to Yield: Intersections are common places for accidents, particularly when drivers fail to yield the right-of-way. Misjudgments or aggressive maneuvers in these areas often lead to side-impact crashes.
- Impaired Driving: Alcohol or drug use impairs coordination, judgment, and reaction time. Florida continues to report a high number of DUI-related crashes each year, many of them resulting in serious injuries or fatalities.
- Tailgating: Following another vehicle too closely leaves little room to stop in the event of sudden braking. Rear-end collisions caused by tailgating are a leading cause of whiplash and other soft tissue injuries.
