Apopka, FL (September 1, 2024) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Apopka. The collision was reported to the Florida Highway Patrol at around 11:50 a.m. on August 31.

Reports from law enforcement show that East Semoran Boulevard was blocked as a result of a collision that occurred near South Lake Pleasant Road. One of the vehicles involved in the crash fled the scene before authorities arrived. Paramedics were notified that they were needed at the scene of the crash to care for injured victims.
