Dover, FL (August 13, 2024) – An unborn child lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Dover area. The collision took place on Sunday, August 11.

At around 715 a.m., an SUV and a motorcycle collided on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The motorcycle was idling at a red light at the time of the accident when it was struck by a Toyota Venza. The motorcycle was occupied by a 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old female who was pregnant at the time of the accident. The woman was rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care. Authorities confirmed that the unborn child passed away as a result of the accident. The driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
