Odessa, FL – Injury Accident Reported on SR-54 at Gunn Hwy

Odessa, FL (August 19, 2024) – On August 18, the Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene of an automobile accident that left at least one person hurt.

At around 1:10 p.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred on Florida State Route 54. Florida Highway Patrol troopers rushed to the scene and immediately located the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the road near Gunn Highway. Police and firefighters worked quickly to remove the involved vehicles as paramedics tended to the injured victims. At least one person required further medical care and was transported to an area hospital. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
