Palmetto, FL (May 19, 2025) – A serious crash involving a commercial vehicle left one person critically injured Friday afternoon, drawing a major emergency response near SeaPort Manatee. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. on May 16 at the intersection of U.S. 41 North and South Dock Street in the city of Palmetto.

According to reports from the North River Fire District, rescue crews arrived to find heavy entrapment at the scene. One individual was critically hurt and required air transport to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
