Petersburg, FL – Injuries Follow Car Crash on I-275 at MM 18

Petersburg, FL (September 10, 2024) – Emergency crews were notified at around 6:30 p.m. on September 9 that they were needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which at least one person was hurt.
According to local law enforcement, a motor vehicle accident took place on the southbound side of Interstate 275. Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters arrived at the scene and immediately closed off the roadway near mile marker 18. Delays were reported throughout the area as officials remained on site. At least one person was hurt in the crash and transported to an area hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
