Sarasota, FL (July 16, 2024) – On July 15, emergency crews out of Sarasota were called to the scene of an automobile accident in which at least one person was hurt.
At around 1:50 p.m., a motor vehicle accident took place in the 2500 block of 17th Street. The incident prompted authorities to shut down a portion of the roadway as they worked to remove the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services were summoned to the crash site to care for injured victims. Victims who required further medical care were transported to a local hospital by ambulance. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated by law enforcement.
