Holiday, FL (November 30, 2024) – Florida Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Pascoe County and claimed the lives of two people. The incident occurred at around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 27.

FHP reports indicate that a 20-year-old man from Holiday was riding a motorcycle on Mile Stretch Drive. The motorcycle had a 20-year-old female passenger. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near Arcadia Road, it was struck by an eastbound vehicle as the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Arcadia Road. The man and woman on the motorcycle both sustained severe injuries in the crash. The two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, a 70-year-old man from New Port Richey, was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
