North Port, FL (August 14, 2024) – At around 4:15 p.m. on August 13, the Florida Highway Patrol, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the North Port area.
Police reports indicate that US Highway 41 was blocked near South Sumter Boulevard as a result of a vehicle collision. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a red Toyota and a gray van blocking multiple lanes of the road. Officials immediately secured a portion of the roadway to prevent further damage.
