Tampa, FL (October 21, 2024) – One person lost their life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in the Tampa area on Sunday evening, October 20.

Official reports indicate that a man was riding his bicycle on Fletcher Avenue near North Nebraska Avenue at around 820 p.m. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a Ford E2 50 van, which was traveling northbound on Nebraska. The bicyclist, identified as a 45-year-old man, was fatally injured in the accident. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
