Tampa, FL (February 9, 2024) – A woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on East Busch Boulevard on Thursday, February 6.

Authorities responded to the crash at approximately 7:45 p.m. in the 4100 block of East Busch Boulevard following reports of a pedestrian being hit. When officers arrived, they found the woman lying in the roadway with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics quickly transported her to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.

The driver, a woman, remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Officials closed the westbound lanes of East Busch Boulevard between North 42nd Street and North 46th Street while they examined the scene.
